The Products   Veggie Bag Kit - is an attractive and convenient kit consisting of a pouch containing 5 fabric bags for your produce in the grocery store or market. The bags are washable and reusable and are intended to replace the plastic bags currently provided ‘free’ by grocery retailers. An environmentally friendly alternative to plastic! The pouch is small enough to put in a purse but it comes with a clip so you can attach it to your grocery bag. The pouch – approximately 6x6” is made of 100% cotton twill with a cotton print lining.  It is machine washable and dryable. The produce bags themselves  - approximately 11x15” (similar in size to the plastic bags provided in the produce section of grocery stores) are made of 100% polyester fabric. The fabric is light weight and translucent so you can read the product code right through the bag. The bag tops are shaped so that you can easity tie them shut.  You can machine wash them if you want but I recommend just washing them out in the sink with a bit of dish soap, rinse and then squeeze out in a towel. Because they are made of light weight translucent polyester they will dry almost instantly. Then they are ready to pack back into the pouch ready for the next trip to the store.  The pouch comes with a variety of embroidered logos.
